I need a day. If I spend a lot of time at each attraction and can't make it to Hualien, I will have already reached dusk when I am at Brown Avenue, so I might as well stay in Chiayi for the night.

Kenting drove all the way to Hualien, and there were stops along the way for meals, photos, and makeup. The driver was also very cool, and it took about 8-9 hours.

Not yet. I asked the same question. However, my itinerary is to play in Kenting until about 2 pm, then drive to Qishan and stay for one night. This may be less tiring.
