Most car parks are Pay and Display. This means pre-pay and display your ticket. There are pay machines that accept coins and credit cards, but fewer that accept notes. You must print out your ticket after payment and display it on the dashboard for inspection.

Garages with barriers are all post-payment after card collection, while roadside parking is pre-payment.
