There are speed limits on the roads in Thailand, but no cameras and few police will catch you. However, if you drive too slowly, the Thais may be unhappy. Thais do everything leisurely, but drive one more aggressively than the other. But if you're not confident, just drive slowly, and let other cars go ahead if they come behind you.
