How do you think we should go?

It seems unreasonable to go to Avignon via Arles and then on to Gordes, Rousillon, and Senanque Abbey.

Arles is not far from Marseille, and Arles is a point with many scenic spots, which may need to be listed for sightseeing separately.

I was on a similar route as you from Avignon to Fontaine-de-Vaucluse, Roussillon, then Lake St. Croix, and finally Nice.

Avignon goes directly to Gordes and Roussillon, these two spots require some time to visit, and then go to Sainte-Croix Lake, it is possible to take photos of Sainte-Croix Lake at dusk, try not to rush on the night road.
