Excuse me, can you refuel in France without a chip on your Visa credit card? Do you know ?

It is a must to have a credit card in all currencies, and many of them require a pre-authorization of 150 euros. I still have 2 pre-authorizations of 150 euros that have not been released.
Chip cards may not work in some places, so it's a good idea to have some spare change.
Except for some high-speed gas stations with manual toll collection, most gas stations use chip cards for self-service refueling, and many scenic spots only have chip cards for self-service parking fees. The gas stations on the highway are 10% to 20% more expensive than those in towns and other places.
Can ordinary gas stations accept cash?
Most magnetic stripes are not working.
