It looks like a brick from the 80s or 90s. If you need to connect to a network, it may not work. It's not practical to use this to contact people in China. If it's just a walkie-talkie for short-distance communication, like between cars, it might be okay. But it might violate local laws. There are many places in Australia without cell phone signals or the internet. How can you get online?
