Valid for 5 days, but starts counting from the day you begin using it. For example, if I open an account on May 8th in Barcelona, but don't buy anything at Harrods in Barcelona, and then only buy something at Harrods in Madrid on May 10th, the validity period would be until May 15th, not May 13th.
