Are medium-sized cars (Buick Regal, Audi A4, Passat and the like) okay to drive on roads in the Scottish Highlands, such as to Skye ?

To Skye it's the A82 and A87, one lane in each direction, very narrow lanes, so suggest if you're driving for the first time, the narrower the car the better, of course for this downshift there's no need, you're doing about 50mph when you meet, the other one is doing at least 60, and not slowing down when turning, and big coaches and lorries are doing that speed too, so think about it yourself

No problem, the road condition is very good.
