On the 17th, I will depart from Vancouver and return on the 25th. I have arranged to visit several national parks in the Rocky Mountains for 8 nights. Is that too many days ?

I arranged for six nights. I don't know if it's enough.

Nothing too much, if you only play in the Rocky Mountains it's just right, if you add Vancouver and Victoria to play, the time is not very sufficient. I played the whole West Coast for two weeks

More or less, slow down a bit

It all depends on how you want to play. If you like outdoor camping, hiking, cycling, and exploration, etc., you can spend more nights if you have time, such as . But if you just want to sightsee or do some light hiking, those lakes, icefields, and towns plus a chance encounter with Tom the Bear , 3-4 nights will be enough, and you can spend the extra 2-3 nights at the winery near Killoona, where you may have some beautiful surprises. Of course, everyone has their own preferences, so it still depends on your own holiday and budget.

Enough but there are a lot of mountains and it rains a lot. You need luck to see the sunrise and sunset. You also need luck to see animals. So it is better to stay longer if you have time. I saw a bear 3 times in one day in Jasper. I also tried a few days without seeing any animals.
