On October 9th, fly from Shanghai to Calgary, self-drive in the Rocky Mountains for 8 days, then fly to Toronto, self-drive along the Maple Leaf Corridor for 12 days, stay in Vancouver for 4 days after flying from Quebec, and return home on November 4th. This plan is awesome. 8 days in Rockies is a bit too much because you are flying into Calgary.
