Some friends say that the speed limit in Italy is around 100, but many people drive at 130 or 140, not sure if it will be considered speeding ?

The speed limit is 130, it's okay to drive at 110. Don't stay in the far left lane for too long, and if you see a car coming up from behind, be sure to move to the right in time. I'm also conflicted about speeding. In reality, there are plenty of cars driving at over 160 on the road. I've driven up to 200 and haven't received a speeding ticket yet.
Each region has different speed limits. Some regions do not have a specific speed limit, and 120 can be used as a standard. The leftmost lane is the passing lane, so try not to stay in the leftmost lane and drive at a constant speed. Google Maps works perfectly fine overseas.
