We rented a car in Spain and returned it a month ago. The car rental agency charged our credit card for the transfer management fee for traffic violations. When I asked the customer service, they said they would send us the traffic violation bill later, and we would have to pay the fine ourselves. The transfer management fee is only 40 euros or so. Is it that expensive? Has anyone else encountered this situation ?

Yes, 40 euros is the administrative fee for violation. The garage submits your information to the police, and the police send the fine to the address where you left your car.

I was also deducted, but the garage sent a letter first, among which 25 was the fee, plus about 10 euros tax, deducting more than 40 euros from me
