Going on vacation to the United States for a Road trip, the pick-up point is Las Vegas. I heard that the service staff will sell some things when picking up the car. Does anyone have any experience ?

The car rental industry in the United States is relatively mature, and it is understandable for salespersons to promote some things for commission. If you indicate that you don't need it, the other party will not insist. In addition, when renting a car, you will usually be asked if you want to upgrade to a larger car, whether you want to buy additional insurance, and if you want to pre-purchase a tank of gas. Before picking up and returning the car, be sure to research how far the counter is from the airport and plan your travel time accordingly. Also, take some time to understand the terms of the rental agreement after picking up the car, and make sure to compare the actual payment receipt with it when returning the car to see if the unit price is consistent, as rental companies may make mistakes.
