byron bay, the easternmost point of the Australian mainland. nambucca heads, when the tide comes in, there is a large whirlpool at the mouth of the nambucca river, as well as graffiti breakwater. other than that, they are basically the same, with blue sky, blue sea, clouds and sand. there are also hunter valley and blue mountains, which need no further explanation.

On the way south from Brisbane, you can stay in Newcastle and go to Port Stephens to play sand sliding. There is a sand road that can drive directly to the seaside sand dunes to play off-road vehicles. Then go to the Hunter Valley winery, and finally to the Blue Mountains, ending in Sydney.
