Many places in Australia do not have streetlights when driving. Please do not drive at night.

No street lights, it is suggested to return to the town hotel around 18:00

Only in towns do they have street lights. Once you leave town, there are none. Before the sun is really up, there are still a lot of animals rushing about, and those who can't learn to cross the road get run over, so you can often see different species gathered in groups on the pavement, er, the animal pavement? The pedestrian pavement? The hopping pavement? They all walk along, even if they're not startled, there are always a few reckless ones who might wander around aimlessly.

Try not to drive at night. In China, we are used to having street lights everywhere, so you don't realize how dark it can be without them at night. It's really pitch black and quite scary, and it's very easy to hit a kangaroo.

Besides the town, there is not a single street lamp on the Ocean Road
