Can you please tell me if there are any restrictions on bringing masks back to the country now? I'm wondering how many N95 masks and how many disposable masks are allowed, or if there are any other items that need to be declared ?

No customs inspection, no feeling of restrictions
Starting from February 8th, the Thai Ministry of Commerce will coordinate the emergency distribution of 10 million masks for sale across Thailand, with prices ranging from 2.5 to 5 Thai baht (approximately 5 cents to 1.1 yuan). If anyone is found selling masks above the set price, they can be reported by calling the 1569 hotline, and the individuals involved could face up to 7 years in prison and a fine of 140,000 Thai baht (approximately 3,200 yuan). The current 'purchase limit order' restricts each person to buying a maximum of 10 masks at retail stores, and anyone carrying masks out of the country cannot exceed 500 masks per person.

Not necessary
There's also a fear of being requisitioned upon entry.
