When I returned the car, the staff didn't check the car and let us go directly. Will there be a problem ?

When I returned the car to HERTZ, I just parked it in the car park and dropped the keys into the small box at the counter. No one even took notice.

No problem, we didn't have any problems with a long scratch on the outside of the car, but we got fined $150+3 AUD for not cleaning the bathroom.

You must be used to taking photos of the four corners and front and rear of the vehicle, as well as the mileage and fuel level, in order to avoid unnecessary disputes. In particular, any damaged parts should be photographed, and if anything is found to be wrong, you must ask the staff. Don't be afraid of trouble, otherwise you will be the one who suffers.
