Tomorrow I am going from Serbia to Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Can you tell me where I can exchange money at the border? I am always struggling with how to deal with currency exchange frequently ?

The border is a checkpoint, basically no need to get off the car. There are no service facilities. There are money-changing places to Sarajevo.

No need to use local currency during entry process, just find a currency exchange point on the street in big cities, Western Union is good.

No currency exchange at the border, you have to go to the city. Change less, credit cards are very popular in these countries, you can change less and more times, anyway, there is no service charge!

You should exchange more when you can. They have a lot of exchange options, so you can just hold onto different currencies and exchange them back to euros or dollars when you return. But it seems like they don't exchange coins, so I ended up with a pile of coins, haha.
