Because of the rain, we came to Jia Yi from Sun Moon Lake. There is only one trip to Fuming Lake by small train in Jia Yi every day at 9:30, so we had to drive up the mountain. It was dark halfway, so we returned to Jia Yi. I think it's better to go to Alishan directly by mountain road, it should take less than 3 hours to get there. The railway from Alishan to Fuming Lake has not been repaired since the 921 incident.
