The hotel I booked before was frozen by credit card, and the platform said in an email yesterday that the credit card information was incorrect and could not be paid. I asked the credit card center and said that the card was normal. I replied to the email and requested to retry or pay in other ways. Unexpectedly, I just received an email saying that the booking was cancelled. Have friends encountered such a thing ?

Not strange, no loss is good.

The habit of British people inputting credit card information is different from ours. You can solve it by sending them a photo of the front of the credit card.

I encountered this before. It was because I had set a lock on my credit card for overseas consumption and forgot to unlock it. You should check it.

Anything is possible in the UK, so just forget it and book another hotel. As long as the money isn't deducted, it's fine.
