If you are traveling with elderly people and children, go to Phi Phi Island. It's closer. Phiphi and Similan are too far away. The trip is too tiring. Phiphi can be considered for an overnight stay. The infrastructure is complete. Similan is more primitive. An overnight stay is not very comfortable.
