I am following the same route as you, here is a reference for you. From Fort William to Glenfinnan, then to Mallaig for the ferry to Armadale. After that, the route goes to Broadford, Portree, and Uig. From Uig, you can visit the Skye Museum of Island Life, Quiraing, Kilt Rock View Point, Old Man of the Storr car park, and then back to Portree (via the Skye Bridge). The journey continues to Kyle of Lochalsh, Eilean Donan Castle (Dornie), Urquhart Castle, and finally to Inverness.
