If the qualifications for replacing the driver are met, there should be no problem, but why not replace it in advance? This is a question mark.

Sorry, the driver must be the one in the front passenger seat according to the delivery order. However, you can add additional drivers when picking up the car, and let them drive.

In general, it's not possible. If you cancel the order and modify the main driver, let the car rental company add an additional driver at the scene. I asked two of them and it's basically around 5 AUD per day.
