Excuse me, how are parking fees charged in hotels in the UK? Are there usually free parking lots ?

To ask the hotel, look at the location. Suburban ones are mostly free, while those in the center of London are rarely equipped with parking lots.

Look at the city or district, some hotels near the evening six o'clock to early eight o'clock free, other times charging. It is best to put luggage in the hotel and park the car outside for free or at a low price, and take the bus at other times. The city center parking lot is sometimes 60-70 pounds a day. The suburbs are 16-17 pounds. Be sure to look at the underground or signs for instructions. I paid to park in the wrong line and was fined 65 pounds.

Novices are better off not driving into central London. Apart from the congestion charge, it's almost impossible to find parking spaces in London, and you could end up getting fined for driving around. Even if you do find a parking space, the fees are extremely expensive, possibly exceeding £70 a day. Some hotels may offer parking spaces, but at a cost. However, hotels further away may have free parking spaces.

When booking a hotel, the hotel will provide instructions.
