Can't be used domestically, can only be used in the United States, associated with international credit cards.

Android users need to use Google Play to install Uber. Uber cannot be used outside of China if it is installed domestically.

Uber App should have a domestic version and an international version, and the associated card should be an international card, otherwise it won't work.

My husband and I both use Huawei phones. I downloaded the overseas version of Uber while still in China and linked it to my multi-currency credit card. I registered and when I got on the plane and inserted the AT&T phone card I bought on Taobao, the card activated automatically when I turned on my phone. Uber in the US is very convenient. After picking up my luggage, I just need to find a convenient location to call for an Uber and it will arrive in 1 or 2 minutes. My husband downloaded Uber after he arrived in Washington DC and it worked well too. Don't worry about using Huawei phones in the US. I used Google, Uber, and the shared electric scooter "Bird" that I downloaded after arriving in Washington DC, and none of them had any problems.
