There aren't many police in Taiwan, I drive freely and go everywhere, even when I encounter a DUI check, I haven't used my driver's license. It's more comfortable to carry the translation, but 95% of the time it's unnecessary.

The translation is useless in Taiwan because our driver's licenses are not legally recognized there. I got a Hong Kong license myself, and there is a reciprocity agreement between Hong Kong and Taiwan, so they recognize each other, you can refer to that.
