You can also go by yourself. There are some introductions for group tours. Individuals are not allowed to go up the mountain to the John Blackstone Observatory at night, but group tours can. Staff can help you take pictures of the stars, and you need to provide a single lens reflex camera. Of course, you have to pay for it.
