I remember that it was at 7:30 am earliest. The road leading to the port had been divided into four lanes, which meant that there were four queues. According to my observation, the second lane was the fastest, although the first lane was given priority because, in fact, two lanes could be used simultaneously to load ferries. No need to buy tickets in advance. Tickets were sold on board after the ship had set sail, and the fees were based on the number of passengers and the number of cars. Payment was by credit card. Go early and there were food available on board. If you arrive early at Preacher's Rock, you can drive directly to the parking lot of the Visitors Centre. If you arrive late, you will have to park further away.
