On the third day, after having breakfast, we first drove to Phuket City for a city sightseeing tour. Phuket Town is located in the southeast of Phuket Island and is the provincial capital of Phuket. Many tourists head straight to the beaches and overlook Phuket Town, which has many historical buildings protected by local laws, preserving their original appearance. The town has fewer tourists than the beach areas, but visiting the old town, exploring the weekend market, and sitting in a local tea shop will leave you with a profound cultural experience. We had lunch at a buffet restaurant in Phuket Town, enjoying barbecue and hot pot. After lunch, we drove to the southern part of Phuket Island for a half-day tour, visiting Chalong Temple, the largest Buddhist temple on the island. Chalong Temple is the most magnificent of the 29 hidden temples on Phuket, located in Chalong Bay in the south of the island. The temple combines architectural styles from southern, central, and northeastern Thailand. In the afternoon, we also visited Prom Thep Cape, located at the southernmost tip of Phuket Island, 18 kilometers from the city center. Prom Thep Cape, meaning "God's Cape" in Thai, is known for the Four-Faced Buddha statue on the viewpoint, earning it the nickname "God's Cape." The cape's history dates back to when sailors discovered the location while sailing from the Malay Peninsula. Due to its location at the southern tip, there are no obstructions, making it the best spot to watch the sunset. After enjoying a beautiful sunset, we returned to the hotel to rest for a while before heading to Patong Night Market to try seafood from the food stalls, a taste that lingers even now.

On the first day, at 13:15, we gathered at the Baiyun International Airport, checked in, and then took Thai Airways from Guangzhou to Bangkok. We transferred at Bangkok Airport to Phuket. Since we used Thai Airways for the entire journey, our luggage was checked through to the final destination and we didn't have to pick it up again. We arrived in Phuket at around ten o'clock at night. There is a one-hour time difference between Phuket and the domestic time. After retrieving our luggage at the airport, we were grouped by vehicle to go to the car rental company to pick up our car. We didn't have to wait long and soon got the car. We stayed at the Phuket Graceland Resort And Spa, in a deluxe pool view room, which was very close to the beach, as well as to Bangla Road and Jungceylon Shopping Mall. When we arrived at the hotel, we went straight to bed, as we were eager to start our happy journey the next day!!!!

The next morning, I woke up naturally and walked to the balcony to feel the fresh air. I saw foreigners swimming in the pool downstairs and suddenly felt that life could be so beautiful. I had breakfast at the hotel restaurant with my colleagues. The buffet breakfast was very rich. After breakfast, I took a walk on the Patong Beach outside the hotel, took some photos, and felt the sea breeze. For lunch, we ate at a small street shop and had fried rice for 120 baht, which I thought was just average. In the afternoon, I played pool, bowling, and some indoor games with my colleagues, but unfortunately, our group didn't win any prizes. In the afternoon, we gathered in the hotel lobby and waited for the travel agency's vehicle to take us to Phuket FANTASEA-The Ultimate Nighttime Cultural Theme Park. FantaSea is the only nighttime theme park on Phuket Island and the largest fantasy world on the island. It is said that this kingdom cost 3.5 billion baht and combines shopping, dining, and entertainment. We enjoyed the huge buffet restaurant, especially the hot and sour soup. After the buffet, we watched a one-hour show based on ancient Thai legends, with singing, dancing, and captivating plots. The fire, fireworks, elephants, and ancient costumes took us into a dreamy world. Everyone had to hand in their cameras and other items that could be used for photography. Although I didn't quite understand it, the elephants left a deep impression on me. After returning, I started to learn more about Thai culture... After watching the performance, we returned to the hotel to rest. It was a fulfilling day, and my colleagues had a great time at the pool downstairs!
