In June, we went on a road trip to the western United States. We stayed in the United States for a total of 15 days. When planning the itinerary, we were determined not to rush and tire ourselves out, even if it meant visiting fewer places. We started our trip in Los Angeles and ended in San Francisco, driving through various cities and national parks along the way. We rented a car for different segments of the trip, totaling nine days and costing approximately $800. We booked our hotels in advance through Expedia, except for one night in Grand Teton National Park. We also purchased a GPS on eBay before our trip, which proved to be very useful for navigation. Throughout the trip, we enjoyed various attractions, such as Universal Studios, the Grand Canyon, and Yellowstone National Park. We also dined at different restaurants, experiencing the diverse cuisine and hospitality of the United States. Overall, the trip was fulfilling and leisurely, and we have no regrets about the places we visited and the experiences we had.
