I want to ask if it's possible to book a hotel for the next day in New Zealand the day before ?

I booked a hotel in Te Kapo by the end of January at the beginning of the month. It's already... full... all of them...
No time. There are no houses around Queenstown, or if there are, they are priced at over a thousand.
If it's peak season, the price will be very expensive, and there may be no room. During the off-season, there are no big problems, and sometimes you can find very cheap rooms.
The peak season is from December to February, so it's best to book in advance to get a better price. Booking the day before might be more expensive, especially for small towns where rooms might be fully booked.
The peak season has arrived, and there are few opportunities.
