I really can't figure out the speeding problem when driving in the UK! The first few days I was not familiar with driving on the right, so I drove very slowly. There were always cars behind me, and I still got a speeding ticket! However, British people drive incredibly fast. Do they have a monthly speeding ticket ?

There will be small horizontal lines on the ground where there are cameras, and the recording standard of the cameras is higher than the speed limit. It's no problem to exceed the speed a little bit in places without small horizontal lines, for example, if the speed limit is 30, you won't be recorded until you exceed 35.
