We arrived in Phuket at 5:30 pm and it took us more than an hour to drive to Kata. The road is a bit like the mountain roads in Mogan Mountain. You still need to be careful when driving at night because there are many motorcycles and vans that drive very fast. The 1.5 Toyota we rented was a bit difficult for the two of us to climb the hills. It's best to use B gear when climbing steep hills.
