What kind of oil should I add to my own car? Check the instructions inside the fuel tank cap. The ones starting with "D" at the gas station are diesel.
The fuel tank lid has color marks, diesel is yellow, and the fuel dispenser at the gas station also marks colors, with yellow being diesel. As long as the two colors are consistent, they are correct.
The fuel pump has colors and French, you will know after adding it once.
L'essence, gasoline, generally rental car companies will mark SP, unleaded (Sans plomb)
