Can someone please advise if you have been previously refused a visa to Canada, do you need to disclose this when applying for a visa to New Zealand ?

You must be honest.

Need to answer truthfully and state the reason. My mother was also refused a visa by Canada, but she was still able to get a visa for New Zealand.

I am in this situation. I asked the travel agency to handle it for me, and I told the travel agency when filling out the system. Last time we signed up for two fathers and daughters, and this time I was also worried about refusal when signing up for the new one, so I handled it with a friend, a total of four people. The visa was successfully issued.

I was refused a visa to the United States. There was a normal explanation. I feel that the refusal of a visa to the United States and Canada has a big impact on the two countries, while it is OK for other countries.

The information exchange is required between the two countries.

To be honest, there will be records of the visa applications you have applied for in any country.
