If you don't have a credit card, choose the Flash Hire package. Flash Hire does not require a credit card pre-authorization. Overseas, they will not let you use a credit card in someone else's name. I chose Flash Hire because I don't have a Visa, although it's a bit more expensive, it's still worth it.

Generally, it must be the credit card of the person who orders the car! If multiple people drive, they can use someone else's card, but cash cannot be used as a deposit.
