Is there a lot of surveillance in Spain, how many times have you been caught speeding, and can you be caught not wearing a seatbelt in the passenger seat ?

Not many monitors, occasionally a few, don't worry too much. But when you're out, it's best to follow the rules and not exceed the speed limit. There are just a lot of roundabouts, so be careful to give way, especially in the city roundabouts, and there are red and green lights stacked up, which are more likely to be careless.
