Last summer I went to a nearby paid parking lot. Go past the 711 entrance from the direction of Mae Klong Market.

Yes, there is a parking lot, I think it's 40 baht, and then it's a few steps to Mae Klong. Stay at Ban Mae Arom in Amphawa, super nice riverside guesthouse.
