Bring a chip card with a Visa or Mastercard. Large gas stations may have staff, while small ones may be self-service. Most expressways are self-service ticket machines, and you can pay when you exit the expressway with cash or a credit card.

It is best to go to a gas station with operating hours displayed. If it shows 24 hours, it is usually self-service and you may need to swipe your card for extra money, which will be refunded to you later. It's troublesome.
