I suggest Paddington. 1. near the subway station, 2. near Hyde Park, 3. it takes about half an hour to walk to Buckingham Palace in the morning, 4. there are many restaurants nearby. But the rooms in this hotel are small and it's inconvenient to park (the parking lot is expensive too, I spent 75 pounds on parking from 1st to 4th).
