In the UK, the steering wheel is opposite to that in China. Be careful when renting a car for Road trip there, find a less crowded place to get used to it before hitting the road.

Some companies are different, my suggestion is to do a notarization before renting. Where should I go to do the notarization?

Reply #4 Cactus Bring the original driver's license, the original ID card, and it's best to bring the household registration book. Just go to the notary office near your home to notarize. Remember to bring 200-300 RMB.

Do I need to provide a translated driver's license to rent a car in the UK? I want to go to the UK. My driver's license has just reached one year. Can I still rent a car?

Office certification is necessary, otherwise it will be very troublesome if you can't get the car later. It's very simple to do the office certification. Just go to the office certification office in your area. In addition to the original and photocopy of your ID card and driver's license, it's best to bring your household registration book. Some office certification offices may require you to show your household registration book.
