Just curious, does the mileage of a vehicle increase the likelihood of it breaking down? I don't have a car myself, so I'm just curious ?

Bad is secondary, the engine of the car is worn out, the driving force is not as good and it uses more fuel. Last time I rented two 8-seater cars of the same style. One has driven 20,000 miles and the other 110,000 miles. The one with 110,000 miles, no matter the start or acceleration, the response is slow.
