When I read, I'm usually on a train, not driving. I didn't go to Skye when I drove in Scotland. I feel like the roads are all pretty similar and easy to drive on. I just drove around a few days ago. European drivers are a bit better and faster. I'm going again on the 21st next month, so I expect there will be a lot more traffic in the summer. The roads are narrow in the UK, not on the highways. It's okay as long as you strictly follow the traffic rules. Don't change lanes randomly and pay attention to the right side. If you speed, the cameras will really take your picture, so be careful. There aren't many cameras in the UK, but Italy is even faster. And the British have a better temper. If you're slow, they'll just find a way to pass you, and there are fewer people who get angry and curse.
