Introduction

The Midway Aircraft Carrier is one of the longest-serving aircraft carriers in world history and one of the longest-serving aircraft carriers in US Navy history. She has experienced World War II, the Vietnam War, and the Desert Storm action. The ship was decommissioned in 1992 and has become a living history in San Diego by the sea. The tour for visitors would last for 3-4 hours, where they can see crew rest rooms, control rooms, onboard prisons, and pilot preparation rooms. In addition, 29 wartime fighters are exhibited on the deck. After the visit, tourists can go to the nearby "Kiss of Victory" statue to commemorate the victory of World War II and to mourn the spirit of exchanging death for peace.
