Aria is a five-star hotel with a total of 4,004 rooms. The decoration is very modern. The rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows. It is worth noting that the food in the room is all paid for. There is a small scale under the food, so if the food is taken away for more than 60 seconds, it will automatically be charged. The first floor lobby has a casino and cafe. The minimum bet at this casino seems to be slightly higher than other places. On the second floor, there is a buffet and the ZARKANA show from Cirque du Soleil.
Mandarin Oriental, Las Vegas
Mandarin Oriental, also known as The Mandarin Oriental, is a five-star hotel. It seems to originate from Hong Kong, so it has a lot of Asian flavor. The hotel staff wears traditional Chinese clothing. This hotel does not have a casino, and the atmosphere is very calm when entering the hotel. There is a place to have afternoon tea on the 23rd floor lobby, which offers a wonderful view of the outside scenery! There are no shopping stores inside the hotel, but it takes about 5 minutes to walk to Crystals which is very convenient. Mandarin Oriental is usually quite expensive, costing around $400 USD per night. It's even more expensive during holidays. We stayed for two days during a special discount period, and the post-tax price was about $300 USD per night.
Vidala Hotel
Vdara is also a non-gambling hotel, and a smoke-free hotel, so it may not be suitable for friends who like to smoke. The hotel feels very new, clean and modern. Perhaps because there are not so many entertainment activities, the lobby appears relatively quiet. The hotel's spa seems good, but we didn't have time to enjoy it. We stayed in a regular room for just over $150 a night including taxes during the discount period. The highlight of the room is that one entire wall is a window, allowing for a view of the outside scenery. The room has a small dining table, kitchen, and living room. The kitchen has an induction stove and a microwave.
This is my favorite hotel. When I saw the room decor on Expedia, I couldn't resist it. It's exactly the style of decoration that I love. The room is predominantly white and blue, and feels much more refreshing and less commercial than other hotels like Oriental Mandarin and Aria. We even got upgraded when we checked in, and the room was very spacious, with the bathtub in the bathroom connected to the floor-to-ceiling windows with a view of the outside night scene! It's also worth mentioning that the columns in the hotel lobby are surrounded by LED LCD screens, which look very cool. There is also a casino inside the hotel, and you can go shopping at Crystals next to the hotel.
