Introduction

Perth Town Hall, located at the intersection of Hay and Barrack streets in the center of Perth, is a Gothic-style building full of historical atmosphere, opened in 1870. This building is a typical representative of the Victorian era free style, with a strong medieval character. Through multiple restorations and renovations, the history and stories of the city are still deeply engraved in this building. Interestingly, this is also the only capital town hall in Australia that was built by prisoners. Every Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock, tourists can participate in a historical tour to deeply understand the rich history and stories carried by this ancient and beautiful building.
