Kiama, Spectacular Natural Fountains and Historic Charm

Kiama NSW 2533, Australia

Introduction

Kiama Beach maintains its original natural landscape with few visitors and lush greenery, providing pleasant scenery alongside historic buildings and natural beauty. Of particular note is the white lighthouse on the coast and the Blowhole fountain hole. Located in the center of the rocks and seemingly distant from the sea, when the waves surge, the fountain hole spouts a water column up to 10 meters high, revealing a beautiful rainbow in the sunlight and accompanied by a huge roar. Different tides, wind forces, and waves create different fountain effects. For hikers, walking along the coast to and from Kiama Beach provides endless scenic views, and a detailed coastal hiking guide can be found on the Kiama official website.
