Introduction

The Pacific Aquarium covers an area of 20,000 square meters and attracts 1.5 million visitors annually. There are 11,000 animals from 500 different species from around the world. Favorite exhibitions for visitors include "Shark Lagoon" for close-up observation of sharks and "Parrot Forest" for feeding the birds. To meet the environmental trend, in 2010, the aquarium opened a 440 square meter environmental garden to show how good biological construction can solve the water shortage problem in Southern California. The garden mainly plants local species from Southern California that grow well, making it an amazing environmental exhibition area.
