Introduction

In 1986, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles was completed in downtown, which is one of the world's earliest contemporary art museums. It is renowned for collecting contemporary art works after the 1940s, covering the works of masters in abstract painting, expressionism, and populism. In addition, the museum also has a unique exhibition hall, located in Little Tokyo Plaza, with an industrial warehouse style appearance, holding more than 20 exhibitions each year, creatively showcasing the boutique collections of famous art museums around the world with historical or personal themes. Last year, artist Cai Guo-Qiang held a special exhibition of his explosion artwork "Sky Ladder" here.
