Introduction

Built in 1938, this bridge is a major transportation route between West Vancouver and North Vancouver, and is also one of Vancouver's famous landmarks. It is named after the twin lions on the north shore and has two lion statues at the south entrance, living up to its name. The lions are often dressed up or adorned with garlands, adding to the beauty of the scenery, especially during festivals or Vancouver Canucks games. In addition, there are dedicated paths for bicycles and pedestrians to cross the bridge while enjoying the magnificent views of Vancouver and the Pacific.
